ABSTRACT

We investigate the role of high glucose concentration level which leads to many functional changes in the cell and production of different types of oxidative molecules which in turn cause DNA damage leading to p53 activation. Our results show the DNA damage caused by high level glucose concentration level via activating reactive oxygen species (ROS) and put the cell in different stressed conditions depending on the glucose concentration levels. Further we take two stressed cells caused via glucose concentration level and allow coupled via diffusive coupling of this glucose itself. We found synchronization of the two coupled cells achieved at a particular value of the coupling constant. We further claim that glucose can activate p53 as well as act as synchronizing agent.
